I just love the Type Candy Font. I’ve been looking for a font that can do everything and this cartridge can! This past summer, thanks to extra money from Close To My Heart, I took some amazing photos in Alaska. One I converted into black & white and hung on the wall! Doesn’t it look professional? I knew it was missing something and I couldn’t find a font that I liked. So today I played with the Type Candy Font and used vinyl to spell out Alaska and wow…I’m impressed! It was much easier than I thought and the transformation to the wall is amazing! Links are to Memory Miser, my go-to store for all my cartridges!

In just a few days I will be leaving the country heading to Ecuador, for what is my 8th or 9th trip, I sort have lost count. As you may have read in some of my previous posts, I have been traveling there almost once a year, involved in mission and research. The culmination has been the following book.

This is a picture of the front/back cover, with my name on it. Isn’t that crazy?!?! I’ll be traveling to do a few lectures and follow up on some other ongoing projects. Please keep checking the blog as I hope to give you live updates while I am there!

I would love positive thoughts and prayers while I am gone….last year I got a parasite! Thanks!

Superhero is by far one of the most popular in the current Idea Book. This kit is so versatile and it is just screaming all boy! The new Adhesive Springs really add that WOW factor to any layout!

And just because you see all this masculine paper, I used the chemistry paper to create this more attractive love card.

The card is a new Die-Cut card and many of the images are cut with the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.

Well I am supposed to be on the East Coast getting ready to fly to Germany, but my doctor has other plans. Having some back problems and have had therapy for a week. Started therapy again this week, but the doctor says I should make a full recovery…YEAH! So, no trip to Germany, but hopefully in the future!

On a positive note, I have more crafty time!!!
